The graduating students were divided into three groups for the practice interview. But before they made the exercise, they were given a special talk by the invited novice priest, Mr. Carlo Lacang. The novice priest discussed the attitude in getting the job. He gave some personal experience to encourage the new individuals in the field of professionals. Mr. Lacang also gave them a prior knowledge where to search for jobs, jobs which can fit their skills as graduates. At the end of the talk of Mr. Lacang left golden tips and brilliant guidelines on handling the job hunting for the students. And in order to filled the minds of the graduating class about the job hunting, Ms. Perpetua Rosello taught them how to prepare a resume and a application letter. Ms.Perpetua Rosello was the class adviser of the graduating class .She wanted her students to be prepared enough to face their new life after the graduation. She engaged herself to give them relevant ideas as a preparation. She shared some guidelines to handle application forms, how to fill it up and what were the appropriate ways to handle them all. For the finale of the one day seminar, the students prepared themselves for a practice interview with the three honorable teachers, Ms. Nalet Gacusan, Ms. Emilyn Umpad, and the college dean Ms. Mary Grace F. Non. They tested if the students were tough enough to handle an interview. Thus, after an interview they gave advices to every student. On the other hand, the students made sure that the knowledge that they gained from the lecture of Mr. Carlo Lacang was applied in passing the job interview.
According to one of the graduating students, Mr. Orlan Macmac ,this seminar was really important because through this they be able to have a background what would be the type of interview they may encounter. For, they already know the basic guidelines and techniques in finding a good job. In that way, it would not be hard for them to accomplish everything.
