The students crowded at the quadrangle after the caroling. The head of the OSA (Mr. Joseph U. Pastrano IV) counted the sum of money that all students had collected from house to house. The said fund would be of additional help for the forth-coming Reverse Caroling Program for the indigenous people of Culion that same year.
The breath-taking part was an excitement for all, the “Light a Tree” program. The tree stood inside the campus for many years that it grew stronger and bulky. It was of great value to all Loyolans for it signifies the LCC for the forth-coming years, strong and limitless. Christmas lights were hanged over the tree. Everyone can’t wait to see the tree being lighted. And when the dark sweeps over the night, everyone can’t take off their eyes as they witnessed the illuminating view of the tree as it was lighted. The tree gave more color for the coming Christmas.
That night, smiles were painted over everyone’s faces. As they walked home bearing with them the real meaning of Christmas. For Christmas is the season of loving and sharing for everyone.
