Loyolamp club members and participants attended a three-day Seminar-Workshop in writing with Photojournalism last November 3-5, 2011 at LCC`s St. Edmund AVR – 1.
Mr. Ronald Suplido Jr., the club moderator initiated the said activity.
Mr. Adonis Rugeria and Vic Nieva, teachers in Communication from Ateneo de Naga University were the facilitators. They discussed about campus journalism, its definition, scope and importance, types of journalism, practical tips for aspiring journalists, the criteria of quality news paper, photojournalism and also the rights and privileges of Campus writer and the law that governs campers’ journalism.
This year`s ultimate goal in conducting this seminar workshop is to uphold the school publication as part of Father IJ`s plan for the 75th Founding Anniversary of LCC. Publication is very important that it can be source of information that happens in every school year. This seminar workshop also aimed to hone and enhance the writing skills of the club members as well as to promote the camaraderie among them.
