CSC on GA!

Last September 15, 2011, the CSC or the Central Student Council of LCC conducted its first G.A (General Assembly) in the Bulwagang Loyola (LCC Auditorium) at around 4:30 in the afternoon and ended 6:00 o’clock in the evening.

General Assembly aims to connect the whole studentry, the CSC officers and the College students respectively. Doing this assembly, the officers got the chance to give the whole College students an idea about the accomplishments and plans of the organization during the past 3 months of their stay in the position; and also their plans for the succeeding months. On the other hand, it’s also the students’ chance to voice out some of their complaints and suggestions to the organization for their better coordination.

The said assembly started with a formal opening prayer lead by Mr. Eduardo Jardin Jr., one of the officers, with the guidance of the CSC moderator, Mr. Joseph U. Pastrano IV. After that, he took the chance to speak before the whole College students concerning with the assembly’s overview and purpose. He quoted, “This assembly is not meant for us to fight but for us to be united as one, working hand in hand, for the welfare of the school!”

Next was the officers’ individual turn to present their committees-in-charge. Then, students were given the chance to voice out what’s on their minds during the open-forum. The said event was actually a job well done. Thus, both the CSC and the students said, “See you on the next G.A!”
