The exhibit was made possible through the help of the students, the Sining Loyola Art Club and the Office of the Student Affairs. It bannered different themes namely: “ Always Ignatius”, “LCC Now and Then...” and “The Beautiful and Historic Culion”. The exhibit showed different works of art made by the students. The life of St. Ignatius shown in pictures and paintings are just a few of these. Also displayed in the exhibit were handicrafts made by 4th year HS students which include the St. Ignatius’ book, bust, face, battlecry etc. These were made from wood and paper mache. Old photos of the school in its early years until the present were also displayed. Much more were Isla Culion’s photo gallery of historical and beautiful places. The exhibit showed the exemplary beauty of Ignatian art. For the viewers it was indeed a success story behind of a Jesuit school who has endured through time and evolved into one of the leading institutions in history that brought hope, healing and renewal through education and Catholic formation.
The Ignatian Art Exhibit is truly a time worth-remembering!
