August was the month of celebration of the Linggo ng Wika. Several activities were prepared and lined up to highlight and invoke the awareness and consciousness of every Loyolan to the said celebration.

One of the activities that were conducted was a cook fest known as KRITIKIM. The participants were exclusive to college students only.

Last August 26, 2010, the Kritikim competition was held at the school quadrangle. All year levels of the college department were busy in preparing and cooking their unique recipes. The first year college had “Embutidong Gulay”. The second year college cooked “Adobo sa Gata”. The third year college made “Bicol Tulsa” recipe. And the fourth year had their “Igado”. The judges for the said competition were Ms. Raquel Celestial, Mrs. Ma. Clarecilla Cantaros and Mrs. Angelina Pitogo, M.A.

First Place: First Year and Third Year College

Second Place: Fourth Year College

Third Place: Second Year College

All throughout, the efforts of everyone made the occasion a successful one!
